COSMETIC TATTOOING/ PERMANENT MAKEUP FAQ’s
WHAT IS COSMETIC TATTOOING?
Cosmetic Tattooing, also known as Permanent Makeup or Micropigmentation, is the process of implanting color pigment beneath the surface of the skin by means of a tiny, sterile, disposable needle to produce the appearance of cosmetic makeup or to enhance the natural features of the face.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a form of Permanent Makeup which is implemented using a handheld tool comprised of between 6-18 micro needles in the shape of a blade, hence the name microblade. This technique is performed without using a machine. Pigment is collected with the microblades, which is attached to a handheld device, and then deposited into the epidermis. This technique gives the appearance of extremely fine, crisp and natural looking hair strokes.
HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?
This varies from person to person, everyone's results last a different amount of time. A color refresh is recommended on average from 12-18 months after your initial procedure.
DOES COSMETIC TATTOOING/ MICROBLADING HURT?
A highly-effective, topical anesthetic cream and gel are used for numbing before and during your procedure. Pain threshold levels vary from person to person and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the entirety of the procedure.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
Two treatments are usually needed. Sometimes just one treatment is sufficient, but a touch-up appointment is recommended just in case. At the second treatment, we will assess the color retention and make adjustments as necessary. Everyone heals differently and at different rates. If your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly the first time, do not worry! We can always go darker and add more density at your next appointment.
WHAT FACTORS WILL AFFECT MY COSMETIC TATTOO?
Sun exposure: The sun fades the pigment faster so sun block may be used to prolong your enhancement.
The regeneration of skin cells: The longer the regeneration takes, the longer the pigment holds. The speed at which the skin absorbs the pigment: The slower the absorption, the longer the pigment will hold. The choice of color: Some colors fade quicker than others, e.g. a blonde color will fade quicker than a dark brown color. The area of treatment: Enhancements to the face, for example, fade more quickly due to constant exposure

SKIN SERVICES FAQ’s
WHAT IS NON-INVASIVE SKIN IRREGULARITIES REMOVAL?
All of us, especially as we get older have a variety skin problems. These problems can arise as a result of physical imbalances in the body caused by sun, age, hormone imbalance, chemical or thermal trauma. This can impact the skin in different ways and cause irregularities such as skin tags, blood spots, broken capillaries, fibromas (pigmented epidermal growth), comedones (blackheads) and milia (whiteheads). While these irregularities are not harmful, they may not be aesthetically appealing. We us high frequency radio waves that are emitted via a fine probe to create a steady direct current, which essentially vaporizes the moisture in the cells at the site of the irregularity. It involves minimal discomfort to the client and results are immediate with virtually no downtime for recovery. MOLES CAN NOT BE TREATED.
TREATMENT AREAS include: Age Spots • Sun Spots • Skin Tags • Cherry Angiomas • Fibromas • Keratosis • Cholesterol Deposits • Calcium Bumps • Hyper Pigmentation • Broken Capillaries • Milias • White Heads
NO AREAS BELOW THE WAIST WILL BE TREATED ON MEN. THANK YOU
